Charles Calvert, President of Celtic Wolf, Inc., attended the 31st Annual ICCA National Conference, June 6th through June 8th. The conference was held in Washington, D.C. with the theme Capitolize on Your Independence.

During the conference, Mr. Calvert was able to attend sessions to gain insights and ideas to Capitalize on your Independence.

Robert Clements - Moving from a One or Two-Person Shop to a Multi-Person Business. Mr. Clements talked about putting in place processes to allow the owner to successfully delegate responsibilities while maintaining quality.

David Gewirtz - Where Have All the Emails Gone? Mr. Gewirtz, author of “Where Have All the Emails Gone?” and owner of Zatz Publishing, presented his investigation into the missing Bush Administration email messages, the related IT infrastructure, congressional testimony and related events.

Erick Simpson - Maximizing Service Delivery Profits during Economic Downturns. Mr. Simpson presented ideas on maintaining and improving services to help clients and grow one's own business during economic downturns.

Karl Palachuk - Perfect Project Management for SMB Consultants. Based on his own experiences of nearly fifteen years, Mr. Palachuk presented methods of managing projects in order to ensure success for both the client and consultant.

John Avellanet - $2.89 In Revenue for Every $1.00 Spent . . . Without Making a Single Cold-call. IT compliance consultant and ICCA board member Mr. Avellanet presented his methods of marketing and advertising for consulting businesses.

Steve Epner - Innovate: Anyone can - Survivors do! Mr. Epner is the founder of the ICCA and has been a consultant for over 30 years. He presented his ideas and experiences on adapting to changes in the economy and industry and how by adapting, consultants can continue to thrive.
